CRYSTAL GROUND IS BACK! SNOWPARK IS READY FOR THE NEW SEASON
The upcoming winter season at the Crystal Ground – Snowpark Kleinwalsertal will bring lots of innovations and improvements for and around the snowpark, but also new, innovative events and camps. One can be looking forward to a diversified and unforgettable winter.

A lot has changed around the snowpark in Riezlern at the bottom of the Kanzelwand. The park itself is going to provide three Rail-Lines and one Kicker-Line for Freestyle enthusiasts of all riding levels. A bunch of totally new obstacles is going to cause a real furore as well as a completely new park-layout.

The Easy-Line consists of top-modern obstacles, on which also beginners can make their first tastes of success. The Public-Line appeals to all advanced riders and offers different boxes that are arranged in an interesting and challenging way as well as a nice wallride. Really skilled riders and pros should take a look at the Advanced-Line, which consists only of sophisticated and demanding rails, which leave nothing to be desired. 
For all friends of airtime the Kicker-Line offers two Kicker tables; each equipped with two launches of different sizes to allow riders of every riding level to train new tricks or even to make the first jumping experiences.

An absolute highlight of the new season will be a small but nice woodtrail, the so called Wood Ground, which will be installed on the right side of the Kessler-Lift. In this extraordinary, innovative nature-line lots of treejibs, bonks and wood-slides can be enjoyed and all riders will find their own, personal challenge here.

Like in the previous years, the Chill-Area at the bottom of the park will again invite the riders to a relaxed barbecue and a refreshing drink this winter. This is the perfect location to meet friends, to calm down and to have a good time.

The Crystal Ground Shop underneath the snowpark is also going to attract attention, as the shop presents itself in a totally new design. The new shop design radiates a modern, but cozy ambiance that motivates to rummage and directly causes a good feeling. From the day of the reopening in November, the shop also offers a more diversified product range. Not only soft- and hardware from the brands Quiksilver, Roxy and Rossignol, a professional Ski- and Board-service and everything one need for shredding can be found here. In the Lounge of the shop everyone can also surf the web while having a coffee or scroll through the latest magazines.

In the matter of events the upcoming season will be more interesting and varied than ever. The winter season will be opened with a veritable blowoff: The exceptional and unique art-project “art on snow” from 6th to 13 th of December. Internationally known board rider artists will present themselves and their work in front of the awesome and breathtaking panorama of the Kleinwalsertal. Furthermore the Crystal Ground will become venue for three high-class camps. Beneath the second edition of the “freeskiers.net Style Camp powered by Almdudler”, Crystal Ground will also be the home base for the “days of pleasure in association with Rossignol”, a snowboard-only camp coached by experienced pros. With regard to the steadily growing and advancing female freestyle scene, a snowboard and ski camp just for Girls called “Girls rock the Park” has additionally been placed at Crystal Ground.

As a matter of course the Iron Night in line of the “Suzuki Wir Schanzen 2009 presented by Quiksilver” will be the height of the season at Crystal Ground again. On February 14th the Freestyle scene from all over Europe will again meet at this very special cult-contest.

Furthermore a park-blog with interesting essays from and about riders, friends and partners has been included.
